Nursing Study of Peritoneal Dialysis and Pain

Abstract
In order to know the way of skillful nursing care of peritoneal report summarized the author¢¥s experience, 17 cases of renal failure. The conclusions were as follows:
1) Clinical problems prior to Peritonal dialysis were listed in table 2.
2) The average abdominal pressure was 100-200 mmh2O before infusion and190-210 mmh2O after the dialysate was infused. So the gained pressure due to the dialysate was 90 nimH2O. Abdominal pain between lie isressua of retension and the number of analgesics used were not seen.
3) In cases of 35.5% of the total, the abdominal reached peak during the infusion and 29.4%at the time of retension and drainage. In 3 cases showing severe pain during the retention didn¡¯t infusion, and drainage. It seems that optional temperature of the diah was¡¾ 30¡ÆC and related with room-temperature.
4) Respiration difficulty during the peritoneal dialysis vas the mmt serious problems (70.5%) and nausea & vomiting was seen (50.9%)0 Defication, was observed in 47. 1% of the cases and it seems that it mucus pain, leakage of the dialysate and bleeding.
5) Elevation of body temperature in 76.5%, anorexia in 52.9% in around the peritoneal dialysis area in 35.5% was seen after z rite 1 ci in most of the case elevated body temperature returned normal 24hrs within Li s. and anorexia was restored gradually.
6) The drainage dialysate was pH 7.5, 330 mOsm/and There as no diffe¡þrence with the time of retension.
7) The removal rate of blood urea nitrogen was35.5%the serum ( catlnlne was 26.3% and the serum potassium was 13.5% after Territorial.
8) Urine output was decreased during the peritonea dialysis in a few cases, generally the oral intake and urine output wire increasing tendency a
9) In 70% of culture of dialysatesand peritoneal catheter tip showed, contamination. The isolated bacteria were E coli, Klebsiella aero genes aerobactor aero genes
